Terms and Conditions
Please note, The Cupcake Bouquet is a part-time, home-based cupcake business; at certain times availability is limited. All cupcake bouquets are made to order.
Orders and Payment
By booking and purchasing cupcakes from The Cupcake Bouquet, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Prices are non-negotiable.
Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering for orders up to £150
For orders over £150, a non-refundable retainer fee of £50 is required to secure the date and block it in my diary. The full balance must be paid 14 days before the collection date, or in the case of wedding orders, 28 days before the wedding date.
Last minute modifications to your order are sometimes possible. They must be agreed upon at least 7 days before collection and may incur an extra charge.
Cancellations and Refunds
For orders up to £150, full refunds will be given if the order is cancelled 14 days before collection.
For orders over £150, the £50 retainer fee is non-refundable. If you have paid in full, the remaining balance will be refunded if the order is cancelled 14 days before collection.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, you agree to contact me directly by phone and retain the cupcakes to show me.
Refunds or replacements cannot be issued without the goods being returned to me within 48 hours for inspection.
If I cannot fulfil your order due to circumstances beyond my control, such as illness, a full refund will be given, including any retainer fee
Collection and Delivery
Cupcake bouquets up to 37 are made to order and available for collection from WS8 6HX at an agreed time slot. If you are late, I may not be there to hand over the bouquet.
Delivery of bouquets up to 37 is sometimes possible and will incur an extra charge.
Dome Bouquets of 61 and 91 are for delivery only. Enquire about delivery at the time of ordering.
The delivery charge is calculated by distance and is additional to the price of the Dome Bouquet. The delivery charge includes setting up the Dome Bouquet at the venue.
The Dome Bouquet stand requires a £50 deposit which will be refunded when the stand is returned to me in the same condition as when it was delivered.
Collecting/accepting the bouquets means you are satisfied with them.
Once the order has been collected or delivered, The Cupcake Bouquet is not liable for any damage sustained due to client handling.
If you do not collect your order within 2 days of the agreed collection date, I reserve the right to dispose of the cupcakes as I see fit.
Allergens
You are responsible for informing me of allergy/intolerance requirements at the time of ordering. The Cupcake Bouquet cannot be held responsible for people with allergies and intolerances consuming the cupcakes.
I offer dairy-free and gluten-free iced cupcakes, but my kitchen is not an allergen-free space outside of working hours. The preparation area and equipment used are thoroughly cleaned before and after baking and decorating. Dairy-free and gluten-free orders are completed first. I do not own separate equipment for allergen free recipes.
I do not offer nut-free cupcakes.
PLEASE NOTE: I make the cupcakes in my home kitchen where any of the 14 notifiable allergens (celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, and tree nuts) may be used.
Colouring
The buttercream contains the following colourings:
sunset yellow FCF (E110)
quinoline yellow (E104)
carmoisine (E122)
allura red (E129)
tartrazine (E102)
ponceau 4R (E124)
These colourings may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children
Cake Care
Do not refrigerate the cupcakes as this impairs the flavour and texture.
Cupcake bouquets being transported by car should be placed on a flat surface, either in the footwell of an empty seat, so nothing will fall onto them, or in the boot.
Do not leave cupcakes in the car.
Store cupcakes at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight.
The cupcakes are at their best served at room temperature and consumed within 2 days.
